More IBM news

IBM Research launched ITBench, the first open-source benchmark suite built to evaluate AI agents in real-world IT environments. The new ITBench SaaS offering covers the complete workflow — from scenario deployment to agent evaluation and leaderboard updates, which includes 94 real-world problems that we call ‘scenarios’ across three key areas:

  • Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): focusing on availability and resiliency
  • Financial Operations (FinOps): focusing on enforcing cost efficiencies and optimizing return on investment
  • Compliance and Security Operations (CISO): focusing on ensuring compliance and security of IT implementations

FICO launched its FICO Marketplace, which is a digital hub designed to connect organizations with top-tier data and analytics providers. The new Marketplace offers easy access to data, artificial intelligence (AI) models, optimization tools, decision rulesets, and machine learning models, which deliver enterprise business outcomes from AI. With FICO Marketplace, FICO Platform users can unlock value from data faster, improve collaboration by leveraging decision agents across multiple use cases, and drive better customer experiences. Additionally, FICO Platform users can access a wide array of decision assets, including third-party data, AI models, analytic tools, decision strategies, and pre-built solutions.

BMC Helix announced the release of new and expanded AI agents to extend observability, discovery, and insights that prevent major incidents and optimize application performance. Additionally, the latest version of BMC Helix, 25.2, includes several flagship Agentic AI enhancements. These include BMC HelixGPT Agent Builder, which empowers IT and line-of-business service owners to create and deploy custom agents through a flexible, no-code configuration framework.

Cockroach Labs announced that its flagship product, CockroachDB, will support IBM LinuxONE and IBM Z systems. This strategic expansion to support the IBM s390x processor architecture brings CockroachDB’s elastic scalability to some of the industry’s most secure and reliable enterprise platforms. IBM customers can now deploy CockroachDB on IBM LinuxONE and Linux on IBM Z, complementing their existing investments with a modern data infrastructure built for hybrid cloud deployments and GenAI initiatives.

Dremio announced the launch of the Dremio MCP Server, a solution that brings AI-native data discovery and query capabilities to the lakehouse. By adopting the open Model Context Protocol (MCP), Dremio enables AI agents to dynamically explore datasets, generate queries, and retrieve governed data in real time. Through MCP, Dremio natively integrates with leading AI models like Claude, enabling agents to seamlessly discover and query data with contextual understanding.

Franz announced AllegroGraph v8.4. The solution offers an enhanced AI-powered Natural Language Query interface that drives Agentic AI solutions by enabling more intuitive, human-like interaction between users and intelligent systems. Specifically, AllegroGraph v8.4 has enhanced its Natural Language Query interface to allow users to ask questions in natural language and automatically converts them into SPARQL queries for precise Knowledge Graph interrogation. This AI-powered capability depends on the platform’s vector database, which contains query examples that help the system learn and improve over time.

JFrog announced a significant milestone, delivering a universal artifact management solution to natively support 40 unique package types, clients, and technologies. With this, Jfrog’s cloud-native artifact management is designed to enable organizations to ensure reliability, security, and performance across all DevOps pipelines.
