AKRON, Ohio, Sept. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Ezurio, a global leader in embedded compute and connectivity, today announces the Carbon AM67 OSM-MF System-on-Module (SOM) – a secure, rugged, and highly configurable platform designed for the most demanding commercial, industrial, and medical HMI applications.

Built on the Texas Instruments (TI) AM67x processor family, the Carbon AM67 combines powerful heterogeneous multiprocessing with cutting-edge AI acceleration and connectivity through Ezurio’s Sona™ TI351 wireless module, featuring TI’s CC3351 Wi-Fi 6® & Bluetooth® LE companion IC. This SOM family integrates TI’s TPS65224 PMIC, LPDDR4 RAM, and eMMC storage in a compact 45 × 30 mm OSM-MF v1.2 standard form factor, providing scalability, flexibility, and design longevity.
The Carbon AM67 is backed by Ezurio’s EZ BSP, a board support package the builds security in from design and manufacturing through field deployment. EZ BSP delivers a Chain of Trust with secure boot and secure signing and long-term support security releases, all on an open-source Yocto and Buildroot foundation with no vendor lock-in.

The Carbon AM67 delivers this performance through a combination of advanced hardware and software capabilities:
- Up to three independent displays at resolutions to 3840 × 1080, a tablet-class GPU (50 GFLOPs, OpenGL ES 3.2 and Vulkan 1.2), and hardware-accelerated 4K60 video encode/decode
- Quad MIPI-CSI-2 camera interface (up to 16 virtual channels each) with a 600 MP/s image signal processor for sophisticated multi-camera vision pipelines
- Two on-board Deep Learning Accelerators delivering up to 4 TOPS total for edge AI applications
- Four 1.4 GHz Arm Cortex-A53 application cores plus three 800 MHz Arm Cortex-R5F MCU cores, enabling Linux and real-time operating systems to run simultaneously
- Secure and encrypted boot, a dedicated secure enclave, and secure file storage, with additional EZ BSP Chain of Trust, and security driven BSP release
- Support for Yocto Linux, Buildroot, and FreeRTOS, plus evaluation kits with a 7-inch display, 8.3 MP camera option, and full evaluation board
- Configurable temperature ratings (commercial 0 to +70°C or industrial –40 to +85°C), memory (4 GB or 8 GB LPDDR4), and wireless options (Sona TI351 Wi-Fi 6/Bluetooth LE)
